Friends and colleagues turned out in force to thank Roy for his many contributions over the years and for his friendship and good humour.
Chair Reinhart Reithmeier spoke warmly of Roy's research career, his outstanding
teaching accomplishments (not the least being his skill at routinely keeping
1200 BCH210 students enthralled for 50 min) and his excellent job running
the Undergraduate Program...
...and of course included a few funny anecdotes.
