The plaque, designed by David Williams, Reinhart Reithmeier and undergrad Matt Cheng, honours Archibald Macallum,
founding Chair of the first Biochemistry Department in Canada. Two plaques were cast - one was
installed outside the Chair's office on the MSB 5th Floor and the other in the 2nd Floor elevator bay.
